A Good ThingAnimal Planet and FuRR to the Rescue

On May 25th, 2010, FuRR volunteers assisted several other local humane societies in an Animal Planet Rescue as part of their upcoming series “Overwhelmed”. Among the animals rescued that day were these cuties that are ready for new “forever” homes. They all get along well with other cats and dogs.

FuRR is also in need of financial assistance to cover the cost of sterilizations, worming, vaccinations and testing for these kitties. If you are interested in adopting one of these “Celebrities” or can help through sponsorship, you can contact us at saveacat@teamfurr.org or by calling (501) 661-0956.

Connor, Izzy and Star are siblings.

Ready to GoConnor

Connor has been adopted by a family is enjoying all the attentions of his new home.

Isabelle

Reader ProgramIsabelle is still available for adoption. She is a pretty, petite solid black kitty who has a hugely loving personality. She loves to sit in her foster mama’s lap and play with her other foster brothers and sisters. She gets along well with the family dog and would be happy in a home with children.

Star

Good Job, Big Footsie!Star, renamed Jenny, has found a home with a retired couple who has spoiled her and recently took her on a trip with them. Her new mama writes, “Star/Jenny is just adorable and an unceasing source of delight. If she is not napping, she is in motion, emptying her kitty litter box so she can play in the litter as if it were a sandbox, getting in the tub (without water) because she is intrigued by all things related to water including ice cubes. Her favorite game is hide and seek, especially on the stairs. Thanks to FURR for saving such an adorable creature.”

Todd and MaddoxTodd and Maddox

Todd has found his "forever home" with Maddox and his mom who also fosters for FuRR. Maddox and Todd spend a lot of time playing together. Todd was a part of the family the instant he walked in their front door. Amy says Todd is very happy in his new home.
