About Ramona Smith
Ramona Smith is a wonderful vocalist who's kindly offered to perform, and it's billed as Ramona Smith and the Soul Band. You'll enjoy Ramona - she does a little jazz, blues, rhythm and blues, and of course soul music. Ramona also is a cat lover - she feeds feral cats, has kitties of her own, and is a great supporter of FuRR.

Ramona was born and reared in Los Angeles, California where she formed her first band, paying her dues by gigging any where she could find work. She finally got a break, she joined the Johnny Otis Revue as female vocalist.

She was with Johnny Otis until she moved to her adoptive home here in Little Rock. She formed her present band, Ramona & the Soul Rhythms. She has opened for music legends such as Al Jureau, and the king himself, B. B. King.
